What to Expect at Coaching Talk?

Contact begins with you.

If you feel that I may be able to help you or a young person in your life, then get in touch!

1

Step 1

Have a chat

We will have a short telephone conversation which could last anywhere from 5 to 25 minutes.

This is free and there is no obligation.

2

Step 2

Arrange a session

If, after our chat, you feel that coaching sessions might be beneficial then we arrange a suitable time to have our first face-to-face session. This is usually held in my purpose built Coaching Room at Shrubbywood Farm, however it can be arranged in an alternative suitable location to suit the client. Parents can sit in on their child’s sessions but only if this is what their child wants. Full Child Protection guidelines are adhered to at all times.

Step 3

Have a session

During sessions, I will use a variety of results based coaching methods and there will be targets set and actions to complete for the individual following each session. A general overview of each session will be provided to parents.

Each session lasts about an hour and depending on the issue for development,3 to 6 sessions are usually enough but this really varies from person to person. Sessions work best when laid out 1 to 2 weeks apart. In some cases, it can be beneficial to have whole family group sessions as part of a course.

Coaching Talk is a fully confidential service that works in line with Children First guidelines and Data Protection regulations.
